Dolores Gaunty-Porter
National Trainer
I am a resolute and enthusiastic educator with a deep commitment to guiding meaningful learning through vision, thoughtful strategy, and compassion. My career has allowed me to serve in both public and private educational settings across the United States and Mexico, working with students from early childhood through higher education. I hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education in Elementary Education, as well as a Doctorate in Literacy, with a research focus on teacher efficacy—an essential pillar of student success.
Over the years, I have served as a professor, consultant, and instructional specialist. I find great fulfillment in supporting teachers and school leaders as they cultivate environments where every child feels valued, heard, and empowered to thrive. My approach is rooted in student-centered curriculum design, faculty development, and practical, research-informed strategies that yield measurable results. Witnessing growth in student achievement, teacher confidence, and school-wide effectiveness continues to inspire my work every day.
I have had the privilege of:
- Leading both state-level and international accreditation efforts
- Coaching educators across various grade levels
- Establishing literacy tutoring centers within teacher preparation programs
- Sharing insights through national and international conference presentations
These experiences have shaped my understanding of education and strengthened my resolve to advance equity and excellence for all learners.
With a bilingual background and a global perspective, I strive to connect authentically with diverse communities. I embed ethical values and inclusive practices into my work, ensuring that all students feel valued and supported throughout their educational journeys.
I welcome opportunities to collaborate with schools, universities, and educational organizations that share a dedication to empowerment, innovation, and sustainable improvement. Let us connect and work together toward a meaningful and lasting impact.

If schools were permitted to have just one training, this is the one!
This training will help to raise test scores for your students, decrease discipline challenges, and improve classroom rapport. You will learn how to meet students where they are and lead them where they need to be, capture attention, and promote deeper learning.
